Founded in 2015, Phystech II AO has established itself as a key player in Kazakhstan's oil and gas industry. We are a subsoil user engaged in the exploration and production of oil and gas at the North Karazhanbas oil field in the Mangystau region of Kazakhstan.
With headquarters in Aktau and operations spanning the strategic Mangystau region, we specialize in hydrocarbon exploration, field development, production, and comprehensive operations management. Our company was built on the principles of operational excellence, technological innovation, and environmental responsibility.

Company Founding & License Acquisition
Phystech II AO established with a vision to contribute to Kazakhstan's energy independence through responsible resource development. Acquired subsoil use rights for North Karazhanbas field with approximately 39.5 million barrels of oil reserves.

Initiated comprehensive exploration and field development activities, implementing modern extraction technologies and infrastructure. Deployed thermal recovery methods optimized for heavy crude oil extraction.
Production Scale-Up & Optimization
