North Karazhanbas Exploration Success Story
Our systematic exploration program at the North Karazhanbas field successfully identified approximately 39.5 million barrels of recoverable heavy crude oil reserves. Through integrated seismic interpretation, well log analysis, geological mapping, and reservoir modeling, we accurately mapped the petroleum accumulation extent and identified optimal drilling locations for field development.
The exploration campaign included 3D seismic surveys covering the entire field area, multiple exploration and appraisal wells with comprehensive wireline logging programs, core analysis for reservoir property determination, and fluid sampling for PVT analysis. This data formed the foundation for our successful field development and production operations achieving 66% reserves recovery to date.
